ESR 7: Reactor concepts and processes for Spatial MLD (Work Package 1)

Short description of the project

This project aims to find the basic design rules for making dedicated spatial MLD reactors. Important aspects are precursor supply and transport, and the tolerance windows on temperature, flows and concentrations. The basic MLD reaction kinetics and its dependencies on temperature, flow, time and concentrations will be studied for this purpose by a variety of in-situ and ex-situ characterization techniques. Initially, a simple MLD model system (alucone) will be chosen, and later extended to more complex MLD chemistries.
