ESR 4: Novel plasma based processing strategies for MLD (Work Package 1)

Short description of the project

This project aims to explore plasma based approaches for making hybrid coatings, by combining the known concept of plasma polymerization, with subsequent infiltration of metalorganic precursors. We envision exploring a cyclical approach, where in a first step plasma polymerization is used for creating a thin polymer, that is then saturated by precursor vapour through subsequent infiltration.
