Toyota Motor Europe is the regional headquarters of Toyota in Europe. Located in Brussels (BE), TME acts as the nerve centre for all European operations including the principal areas of manufacturing & engineering and marketing & sales activities. Established in 1987, the Toyota Technical Centre in Zaventem (BE) is home to TME’s Research & Development (R&D) Advanced Technology 1 (AT1) division doing leading-edge research in the field of batteries and solar cells.
